Palak Ni Puri

Preparation Method: 


  1. Wash and finely chop palak. Add a little water and grind it to a paste. Add ginger-garlic-green chilli paste, ajwain, cummin seeds, turmeric powder, gram flour and ghee to the palak mixtue and mix well. Add wheat flour and salt and knead into a hard dough, adding a little water to it, if necessary.
  2. Divide the dough into small portions and roll out into puris. Deep fry the puris in hot ghee till golden brown. Serve hot with mango pickle or any other pickle


  • 1 bunch palak (spinach);
  • 4 cups wheat flour;
  • 4 tbsp. gram flour;
  • 2 tsp. ginger-garlic-green chilli paste;
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ajwain;
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cummin seeds;
  • 1/4 tsp. turmeric powder;
  • salt to taste;
  • ghee for deep frying.
