Chicken Shakuti

Preparation Method: 
  1. Cut chicken into pieces, wash and keep aside.
  2. Add oil in a pan fry the luwag, tikki, kalamiri, elachi for a while and keep aside.
  3. In the same oil add coconut, onion, danya, zeera, garlic, red chillies, badisup till the coconut turns light golden brown. Remove and put in the mixie along with cuscus, fenugreek seeds, ginger, tamarind, tumeric powder and grind to paste.
  4. Heat oil and the ground masala and fry it for sometime.
  5. Then add chicken with little water and salt. Cover and let cook for 20 minutes.

  6. Onion 2 small
  7. Fresh Coconut (grated)- 1cup
  8. Whole danya
  9. Whole zeera
  10. Luwag -6nos
  11. Tikki- 1big stick
  12. Kalamiri 8-9
  13. Green Elachi 4 nos
  14. Red Chillies 4-6 nos
  15. Badisup 1tsp (Aniseed)
  16. Haldi powder
  17. Salt
