Chicken Shakuti

Preparation Method:
- Cut chicken into pieces, wash and keep aside.
- Add oil in a pan fry the luwag, tikki, kalamiri, elachi for a while and keep aside.
- In the same oil add coconut, onion, danya, zeera, garlic, red chillies, badisup till the coconut turns light golden brown. Remove and put in the mixie along with cuscus, fenugreek seeds, ginger, tamarind, tumeric powder and grind to paste.
- Heat oil and the ground masala and fry it for sometime.
- Then add chicken with little water and salt. Cover and let cook for 20 minutes.
Ingredients:
- Chicken 1kg
- Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
- tamarind 1tsp
- Fenugreek seeds 1tsp
- Cuscus 1tsp
- Onion 2 small
- Fresh Coconut (grated)- 1cup
- Whole danya
- Whole zeera
- Luwag -6nos
- Tikki- 1big stick
- Kalamiri 8-9
- Green Elachi 4 nos
- Red Chillies 4-6 nos
- Badisup 1tsp (Aniseed)
- Haldi powder
- Salt
